Dr Patel is very experienced in gastroenterology and I have received good patient care. I have not have any issues with making contact with him when I've needed to be reviewed. However, during the earlier stage of the pandemic when reviews were conducted by telephone only, I would have preferred more time being given to these consultations. Generally I have been pleased with the care and treatment received.

I got seen straight away. Dr Patel listened to me, asked questions & explained what he wanted to do. This all happened within the week. Follow up after procedure was good he rang when he said he would & explained findings & going forward.

I was given a clear understanding of what he intended to do following our initial meeting. I was kept advised by him and the hospital staff as to what was required of me and in turn he and his support staff kept me informed.
